    My top tips for lockdown so far are pretty pedestrian: drink a crap load of wine and make great food. And carbs. Carbs are great food and they go extremely well with wine. Winning all round.
  • Veggie Braai Kebabs

    April is one of my favourite times of the year in Cape Town. There’s no wind, the sunny days are mild to warm and there are lots of public holidays! Last Sunday was the most perfect day – it was even warm enough to sit in our pool. On days like this, if you are saffa, you must braai. 
  • Grilled Corn Vegan Salad

    A few weeks ago we had friends from the US visit us. He eats meat and she’s vegan – a change from the last time I saw her when she was a raw vegan! We had a good old saffa braai to welcome them and I was given the task of bringing a vegan salad.
