    In this post, I talk about exploring the concept of veganism and what it means to go meat free. So then, let’s explore! I think it’s best to start with some definitions. Veganism, according to The Vegan Society, is a ‘way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.’

    Veganism is a buzzword these days – a trendy bandwagon onto which many people jump without really thinking it through. I’ve heard horror stories of kids parties where newly vegan moms serve mountains of oreo cookies and doritos chips, proudly proclaiming the lack of animal products in the ingredient list. Their kids dinners tend to consist of potatoes, salad and more potatoes.
